Philips Healthcare has the responsibility to deliver good quality products to every single one of its customers. A crucial part of this quality-inspired environment is the quality of the CAD models we do before even starting the production of a system. We are looking for a candidate driven, self-reliable and passionate about healthcare, with good command of CAD SW.
The assignment consists on the creation of the CAD assemblies of the current frontal and lateral stands of our interventional X-ray system with complete functionality (e.g. motion). This will give you a unique opportunity to have a hands-on experience into the Philips IGT systems full product portfolio. A mandatory step for every future system designer/architect.
The intern’s main tasks will be CAD related: Create skeletons, assemble full systems, and create hospital specific configurations. At this time only lower levels are available.
The intern’s deliverables consist of 3 finalized lower level assemblies: frontal stand, lateral stand and table. Depending on time and capacity of the intern the commercial (hospital) level assemblies will be included in the scope.
You’ll work in a multidisciplinary mechatronics team, responsible for the creation and testing of all the mechatronics of an interventional X-ray system. You’ll work in close cooperation with a Mechanical Designer to allow short communication lines.
