Being actively involved in the Corporate Finance Sector Banking team and support the origination process - such as synthesizing information, sector research, valuation modelling, preparing presentations and being part of client meetings and pitches.
The Sector Banking team follows Rabobank’s international strategy that is focussed only on the Food & Agriculture sector. The team works closely together with the M&A and other products execution teams and provides sector input during execution processes of M&A and other transactions, such as preparing marketing materials and sector valuations.
Making a difference
As an Intern, you will get to learn about the Rabobank culture, and what benefits and responsibilities come along with being part of the team. You will work on real-life opportunities alongside the team, learning more about Sector Banking at Rabobank.
Tasks include:

Synthesizes information for clients (including its markets, products and competitors) and transactions

Supports in preparation of pitching materials

Supports in financial analyses, modelling and valuation work

Part of key commercial and strategic efforts such as client pitches and client meetings
-
Analysing customer’s needs to develop pro-active solutions (together with senior team members)

Supports senior bankers in the creation of new strategic and corporate finance ideas leading to pitches

With you
We are looking for best in class 3rd and 4th year university students. For this internship you are required to remain enrolled at a university during the duration of the internship and available to work full-time for at least 3 months.
Required skills and experience:

Completing your 3rd year of a bachelor degree or currently enrolled in a master degree and affinity with finance;

Outstanding record of academic achievement combined with extra-curricular interests and experience;

Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills;
-
Co-operative, adaptive and flexible attitude as well as excellent communication skills;

Fluency in English, both verbal and in writing is a prerequisite;

Fluency in at least one other European language is preferred;

High work ethic and motivation;

Trusted and loyal team player.
