Equity Capital Markets (ECM) is part of the Corporate Finance (CF) department and advises companies on raising equity on international stock markets. Products covered by ECM include Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), follow-on equity issues and secondary offerings (rights issues or accelerated bookbuild offerings (ABBs)), share buybacks, preference shares issuances and equity-linked transactions (convertible bonds). ECM - together with the (equities) dealing room - originates, structures and markets equity and equity-linked transactions to institutional investors (e.g. pension funds, insurance companies, asset managers, hedge funds) and retail investors.

As an ECM Intern you will work in a young, dynamic, enthusiastic, and highly motivated team on challenging projects for high profile clients, mainly in Europe. You will be supporting the team in originating, structuring and executing ECM transactions. You will be part of transaction teams on high profile European ECM transactions (examples include the recent capital raise by Fugro, Xior Rights Issue, Prosus listing, Marel IPO, B&S Group IPO, NIBC IPO, DWS IPO and the VolkerWessels IPO). Who are we looking for?
Suitable candidates are ambitious Master (or outperforming third year Bachelor) students in preferably Finance, Business, Economics, Econometrics, Engineering or Mathematics with a high energy level, strong attention to detail, ability to work timeefficiently within a team setting, good communication and interpersonal skills and affinity with finance and financial markets. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Dutch university, are required to be proficient in the Dutch language and are expected to reside in the Netherlands.
The internship includes an attractive financial compensation.
